Venezuelan Director, Producer and Creative.

This Venezuelan director, producer and creative has lived in the United States since the beginning of 2002. He graduated from the Social Sciences School at Universidad Central de Venezuela and also studied Film and Television in the London International Film School in England, apart from doing a Master’s degree in Politics at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas.  

He worked 5 years as a teacher in the Film Department of the Arts School at UCV. At present, he is Senior Production Manager at Disney-ABC International Television, being in charge of the design and supervision of all of the company’s original production projects for Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.

For 6 years, he was part of the HBO Latin America production team, where he reached the position of VP of Original Production, leading the launch of very successful programs such as Crónicas

 
 

Anónimas and the Latin American humor series Séptimo Sentido, which HBO Latino still broadcasts in the U.S. He has directed some soap operas and other drama series for channels such as Telemundo in the U.S. and Radio Caracas Televisión in Venezuela.

Throughout his career, he has received different awards such as the World Gold and Bronze Medals in the 2000 New York Festival TV & Film/Video Awards, the World Platinum Medal in the 2001 edition of the same festival, and the World Bronze Medal in the 1999 edition. Besides, he was a member of the jury in the 2003 Emmy International Awards and the 2000 Environmental Film International Festival in Gavá, Barcelona, Spain. 

He contributes to different publications such as Hispánica Magazine from the State of Florida and Exceso from Caracas. Moreover, he reached the position of Summit magazine Director, and contributor to Imágen magazine and the following Venezuelan newspapers: El Nacional, Tal Cual, El Diario de Caracas, and the defunct Feriado magazine.
